Heroes Made in Asia Spring 2025
My motto for this event was basically "double the cost, normal revenue"—which is crazy to think about! HMIA moved venues this year from Gorinchem to Utrecht, and it was a big change. A lot of people, myself included, had a soft spot for the old venue, but it’s clear they completely outgrew it, so I get why the move was necessary.
That being said, the weekend was still great! I had some amazing helpers and even got to walk around the event with my husband, which was a rare treat. The booth space was huge, but honestly, I don’t feel like it was worth the price—€875 this year and jumping to €980 next year?! Absolutely nuts!
I’ll give the pro booth another shot next year and hope for a better experience!
7-8-9 March | Brussel expo
Made in Asia Spring 2025
this edition was a huge personal improvement from last year! Having an amazing helper (big thanks, Vex!) and bringing my awesome friend Holograpic.o to share such a big space made all the difference. The vibe was 100x better than before, and I truly enjoyed the space we had.
I did notice that one corner felt a bit underused since most visitors preferred shopping from the front, but overall, it was a fantastic three-day experience! Can't wait for the next one!

Geeks and freaks 2025
This was the very first time they hosted this event, and I have to say—it was an absolute blast!
Being set up near my vendor friends, Frecklz and Kimarisart, made the experience even more special.
Since after 3 PM the crowd died down, it was mostly just the vendors left. It gave us a chance to shop around and explore the cozy one-hall venue. But the event was open until 5/6pm which was a bit of a stretch.
Overall it was such a fun and chill event and would be interested in travelling again.

De Goudse popdag 2025
What an amazing way to kick off the convention season! This small, wholesome gathering in my hometown was such a delight.

Meeting many local artists was a refreshing change of pace, it was fascinating to see the different levels of experience among us.
For many, this was their very first event, and their kindness, curiosity, and excitement were truly infectious!
This event has me pumped for the rest of the season and the year ahead!

Dutch Comic Con Winter 2024
Man, what an edition! I'm getting more comfortable hosting the Alley/line of artists in the dealer hall. It gets easier and less chaotic.

Officially set up the full corner which was a good call! Thanks to my husband and my friend Wesley we survived the weekend! with the most popular items being MURDERDRONES <3
Overall I can't complain, Me and all the fellow lovely artists made this weekend once again fantastic.​

2 - 3 November | Flander Expo Gent
Facts winter 2024
Expensive but worth it.
​
Facts dealer hall is rather one of the most expensive booths I own. But also one of the most fun conventions I look forward to.
​
Sharing the booth space with my 2 Artist friends Mimichair and holographic.o I can honestly say it made the weekend even better!
Down side- my first button machine died this event RIP. It gave me a full breakdown but it was time for the retirement...

My god what a Chaotic weekend.
First of I don't speak French and that was a slight problem BUT MANAGED,
Secondly- Helper drama. But thanks to My best friend Largo I survived the weekend.
Third It was a great con just low discovery and so many artists and vendors-
It was an interesting convention but wished to have seen more, sadly couldn't <3
12 - 16 October | Greater expo Amsterdam
Comic Con Holland 2024
I have to say I was surprised with how gorgeous the venue of CCH is/was.
Overall I had to figure out how to set up my Booth on a 1.80m Table Since I've been blessed with many big setups this past year. But it all worked out!
Great starter con just bring along your earplugs because those podiums front and back were LOUD.
I've had so much fun with all my neighbours and had amazing helpers <3 thanks to Lisa and Jhin
5 - 6 October | Jaarbeurs Utrecht
Gameforce NL 2024
Compared to Gameforce BE, Gameforce NL Has been a huge improvement for me-
A medium-sized con is easy for starting-out artist if they are more focused on games.
Sold a lot of original merchandise (many UwU Fans) and enjoyed the vibes a lot-
Cons: I HAD A PILLAR IN THE MIDDLE OF MY BOOTH- which made it look like the front of my booth and the other side were 2 separate booths-
Would for sure return next time though!

It just gets better every single year.

From the booth set up to, the stamp rally I hosted with lovely artists, to seeing the community again.
Many many opportunities and fantastic interactions. Each year gets better<3
I have way to many words to say then that i can write down. thanks again to my husband and Largo without them, I would have drowned and been overwhelmed by the amount of support.

Happy 3-year anniversary of me doing working at conventions.

Dutch Comic Con Summer 2024
This edition was a fun kind of chaos.
It was the first time for DCC to open up for 3 days and the first time for me to host a spot in the Dealerhall.

From setting up halfway on Thursday
to some crazy interactions- and lovely friend visits.
Overall I can't complain, Me and all the fellow lovely artists made this weekend once again fantastic.
And without my husband and Largo, I wouldn't be able to survive the weekend haha​

Facts is so much fun if done right.
The passion, the enthusiasm and the pure joy all the visitors have is amazing.
​
For the first time, we finally set up a full 3.6M booth! Which was such a big challenge to build. but it ended up looking incredible!
Thanks to my helper Ali (and Largo and Jelte) for being such amazing support and helper(s). We made some fun content, Made good sales, and had an incredible booth spot that's only getting better next edition.
​
I cant wait to see everyone then!

What a great start to the year,
Comparing HMIA 23 to 24 Blew me away. I had some expectations but didn't expect this amount of love for the stand.
From the community meet up to many new people finding my stand and supporting it.

Dutch Comic Con Winter 2023
I'm still blown away.
You guys broke my personal record, Absolutely blown away and on top of that Made me sell out of several prints, buttons and stickers. I have never experienced this much support and couldn’t thank everyone more.
All the comments I got from friends were “You were so busy! Like CONSTANTLY” and I kid you not. We started at 9 AM and ended around 8 PM Without breaks. Because you blew me away.
And we finally have a permanent stand at DCC. This will be in the Dealerhall but nonetheless, we made it.

Man, this convention was fun!
Facts gave me "first-time Dutch Comic Con" vibes, Meaning It's full of passion and enthusiasm. Everyone was very sweet and kept coming back to chat or buy more items.

I was sharing a booth with the lovely Cutiesquad in the Main dealer hall from the venue. This meant a lot of the Artist alley visitors might have missed me either way most of you found me and shared your love. I'm very happy I could see more of my Belgium fans! You guys made my day!
30 Sep - 1 Oct | Brussels Expo
Gameforce BE 2023
Gameforce was… Special
It felt very difficult to get in because of several miss communications through the mail. As NL was all filled up they offered me a spot at BE.
And I can say I was not amused- The full artist alley was in the second area in THE BACK. Meaning it would take customers several minutes even to figure out where the AA was.
So from a seller's perspective, it wasn’t the best.
Would I do this again? No… very simple the cost of the con (Table, Traveling, Belgium Fines ha ha) was not worth it to go to this convention again unless they paid my spot.
9 September | Nijmegen
The Big Draw Festival 2023
It was a fun little market. It's the first event I made less than €100 but I still say that it was better than the Marckt from 2022.
Why? Well, it's very simple, this event is what I love to see when it comes to an artist's market. Many artist, great weather, sweet people and a great environment. The thing that could be different was a better place. If it were In a larger city in Utrecht or Rotterdam then it could reach more people and be so much more fun (money and people wise). So conclusion it's a fun little convention good for networking just not if you want to actually make money haha.

Damn. Just damn. for my first con outside of the Netherlands, I'd say, What an incredible event. @twitchcon Paris was a great success.
So many people got buttons, keychains, stickers, posters, LIVE doodle times, and so much more!
This con keeps amazing me.

Anime con 2023
For my first 3-day convention I can say it was a great success! Even with the Unbearable heat of the weekend, I felt like I could truly enjoy the convention and still manage behind my stand.
Vibing with great music, Enjoying the chats with fellow artists and, Not to mention I had a great helper! thank you again, Brian!

I started out with doubts about this convention. I wasn't sure what to expect so I went with no expectations and just a goal.
And I can say it was pretty all right! I had a great neighbour, a great helper (thank you Glenn) and a bonus helper (thank you Kim!) we had some great chats and over all, it was a fun convention!

Heroes Dutch Comic Con - Winter 2022
I was so tired. This was the first and one of the bigger conventions I First off managed to get a table in the dealer hall last minute (thank you @Avanii ) when I mean last minute I mean 4 days before the con.
Secondly, I'm never doing a con again without any helper! Though thanks to my sister and my friend Faik for helping me whenever they could.
DCC was overall a cool convention and would definitely try to participate again!
19 August | Gouda
Marckt 2022
The Marckt was a Fun market idea in the city of Gouda. Low cost for a big table, free entry and lots of people.
Would I do this again? No.
All I will say is that it was fun and very sweet that Local friends and family members finally were able to see what I do when I mention that I want to sell my own work at events.
16 - 17July | RAI Amsterdam
Twitch con Amsterdam 2022
This was my 'first' and most Impressive convention ever. I never expected the great amount of support, love, care and praise I would get from just being able to be myself. This truly showed me that I was worthy to be an artist.

It changed my full view of my work boosted my ego and actually made me cry on multiple occasions.

20 October | Wfc Amsterdam
I can honestly say that I was so excited. My first-ever convention. My first button machine, posters, business cards, commission sheet on a chalkboard, hand-drawn notebook and no wallet for exchanging money when someone bought something at my table.
I can honestly say it was a fun first experience and thanks to my dad we managed just about fine!
was it the best con? no. Do I keep forgetting this was my first con? Yes. but that's because of a 4 year gap between this one and the next one haha!
